Tom Huelin, BSc, is a Sports Scientist, Exercise Coach and
Conditioning Specialist based in Berkshire in the UK. He is an Advanced Personal
Trainer and works with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Tom graduated from the University of Southampton with a bachelor's degree in
Sports Science and has since taken up several roles within the sport, health and
fitness industry, including gym instructor, personal trainer and sports coach.
Tom is currently Head of Fitness & Conditioning at The Oratory School Sports
Centre in Reading, Berkshire.
Tom specializes in sports-specific training and works with both
amateurs and professionals including current top 10 players. He works with
cricketers, golfers, tennis players and skiers. and works with several sports
teams on a consultancy basis.
His training paradigm is based on a basic functional program
design using his experience of working within a variety of different sports to
challenge his clients to achieve their full athletic potentials. He has
developed the successful 'Progressive Movement' and 'Athletic Movement Systems' designed
to develop individuals functional movement from a basic to advanced
level.
Tom is a Level 3 Advanced Trainer on the
Register of Exercise Professionals, an Associate Member of The UK Strength &
Conditioning Association and a Professional Member of the British Association of
Sports & Exercise Sciences.
Tom is a respected author having contributed
articles for local, national and international publications including FitPro,
Personal Training on the Net and IQ Education Magazine. This year he published
Stability Ball Strength - an e-book exercise guide to Stability Ball
Training.
